What am I agreeing to?

Terms, in plain words.

These are the terms for using ComfiSkin, and by using the app you agree to them. They are short on purpose, because you have a face to wash.

Updated 2 October 2026. This page is shorter than the terms you scrolled past when you set up your phone.

The short version

  • ComfiSkinFree to use
  • What the app tells youInformation, not medical advice
  • Your notes and photosBelong to you
  • PurchasesMade with the shop
  • The catalogFor personal use

What are the basics?

ComfiSkin is free for your personal use.

ComfiSkin is free to use, and there is no free trial that quietly turns into a gym membership. You can use it on your own devices for your own skincare, or to help someone else with theirs.

By using the app you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. You need to be at least 13 years old, and if you are under 18 you should ask a parent or guardian first.

Can I rely on what the app says about a product?

ComfiSkin reads labels, but it did not go to medical school.

ComfiSkin shows what is in a product, what each ingredient does, and how well the product fits what you have told the app about your skin. This information is meant to help you choose. It is not a diagnosis, a prescription or a prediction of how your skin will react.

Skin reacts differently from person to person, so test a new product on a small area first. See a doctor or dermatologist if something worries you. Ask them before changing your routine if you are pregnant, nursing or using prescription skincare.

Is the product information always correct?

If the app and the label differ, follow the label.

Brands change formulas, sizes and names without sending anyone a memo, and a large catalog will contain some mistakes. If the app and the label on your product disagree, follow the label and let us know so that we can correct the entry.

Product names, logos and pictures belong to their brands. ComfiSkin is independent of the brands it lists.

How do prices and shops work?

Purchases are made with the shop.

Prices and stock come from the shops and can change during the day, so the shop’s own page shows the current price. The sale, delivery, returns and refunds are between you and the shop, under the shop’s terms.

Some shops pay ComfiSkin a commission when you buy through a link. The commission does not change the price you pay.

Who owns what I write in the app?

What you write in the app belongs to you.

Your notes, photos and routines belong to you. They are saved on your phone, and you can export or delete them whenever you like.

What am I not allowed to do?

The app is for personal use, so please do not hoover up the catalog.

The app, the catalog, the matching and the Comfi character belong to ComfiSkin. You may not copy the catalog in bulk, access it with automated tools, reverse engineer the app, resell it, or interfere with other people’s use of it.

Parts of the app use open data and open-source software, which are credited on the About screen.

What happens if something goes wrong?

ComfiSkin is provided as it is.

We cannot guarantee that ComfiSkin will always be available, free of errors or suitable for every purpose.

To the extent the law allows, ComfiSkin is not liable for skin reactions, products that did not suit you, purchases you made, or data lost with a device. Any liability ComfiSkin does have is limited to US$50, which is about the price of a good sunscreen and a cleanser.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law where you live does not allow to be limited.

How do I stop, and what if the terms change?

You can leave at any time, and there is no exit interview.

Deleting the app removes what is saved on your phone. ComfiSkin can suspend access for anyone who breaks these terms.

If these terms change in a way that affects you, the app will tell you before the change takes effect. You will not find out from an email titled “We have updated our terms” three weeks later. Continuing to use ComfiSkin after that means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, unless the law where you live requires otherwise. You can reach us at hello@comfi.skin.

Is that everything?

That is everything, so go and read a label that is not ours.
