ComfiSkin vs Ceyra

Ceyra is a new skincare scanner from the developer behind FeelinMySkin, sold through weekly, monthly and yearly subscriptions. ComfiSkin scans products and checks them against your skin for free, and really does need no account.

The short answer

Ceyra sells weekly, monthly and yearly subscriptions, including a $4.99 weekly plan. Its homepage says “no account required”, while its own terms say you’ll be asked to register an account with email and password. Its privacy policy says it doesn’t make your data available to other entities, while its Google Play listing says it may share your search history and device IDs with third parties.

What that means: you’d be paying for an app whose promises contradict its own small print. ComfiSkin is free, genuinely has no sign-up, and shares nothing about you.

“No account required”, except in the small print

Ceyra’s homepage says “Privacy first, no account required”.2 Its terms of service say “the User will be asked to register an individual User Account” with an email and password, and its privacy policy says confirming registration “is necessary for creating a User Account and further use of the Application”.3 The policy also names the Polish data protection office as its regulator, although the developer is based in Slovenia.3

Small print that contradicts the headline doesn’t inspire confidence about the rest. ComfiSkin has no accounts, no email and no password, and it says so because it’s true.

What that means for you: “no account required” on the homepage may not hold once you’re in. In ComfiSkin, there’s never an account to make or lose.

“We don’t share”, says one page. “May share”, says another.

Ceyra’s privacy policy says: “We neither make the personal data of our users available to other entities.”3 Its Google Play data safety section says the app may share user IDs, device IDs, app interactions and in-app search history with third parties for analytics, and lists health information among the data it collects.4

What you search for in a skincare app says a lot about your skin. ComfiSkin keeps your skin profile, searches and notes on your phone, and shares nothing with anyone.

What that means for you: your skincare searches and health details could leave the app, whatever the policy promises. ComfiSkin keeps them with you.

Another subscription from the same developer

Ceyra is made by Andras Munkacsi, the developer behind the FeelinMySkin routine app, and both stores list them together.1 It follows the same pattern: subscriptions that renew automatically, here including two weekly plans at $4.99, monthly plans at $7.99 and yearly plans from $14.99 to $29.99.1 At $4.99 a week, that’s about $260 a year. The app launched in May 2026 and hadn’t been updated since 14 May when we checked.1

ComfiSkin has no subscription at all. Scanning, matching, routines and reminders are free.

What that means for you: another weekly bill for something ComfiSkin gives you for nothing.

What to do if you’re trying Ceyra

  1. Check what you’re paying, and how often. On an iPhone, go to Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  2. Read the terms before you trust the headline. Especially about accounts and data sharing.
  3. Scan your products in ComfiSkin. No account, no subscription, nothing shared.
