How to apply it

1. 1Wash your face with a gentle cleanser, then gently pat dry.
2. 2Apply any skin medication or prescribed treatment after cleansing. Follow its own directions rather than changing the treatment order to accommodate the ampoule.
3. 3If you already use a toner, apply it before the ampoule. You do not need to add a toner just to use this product.

5. 5Follow with moisturizer. In the morning, finish your skincare with sunscreen, then apply makeup if you wear it.

Should you use it morning or night?

General Korean skincare routines can include an ampoule in the morning and evening. That makes either routine a reasonable place for this product, rather than making twice daily use a requirement. Introduce the ampoule gradually, especially if your skin is sensitive, and avoid adding several other new products at the same time. Changing one product at a time makes it easier to tell what helps and what causes trouble.2

Where does it fit with other products?

For ordinary cosmetic layers, work from the thinnest texture to the thickest. This watery ampoule belongs before a heavier moisturizing cream. Toner is optional, and an ampoule does not require a separate essence or serum alongside it. A Korean skincare routine does not have to contain ten steps, despite the marketing department's enthusiasm for counting. Its texture is watery and slippery, designed to spread easily and absorb without a sticky finish. The brand lists it for all skin types, particularly dry and delicate skin. Treat those benefits as the purpose of the product, not a reason to keep applying it if your skin becomes irritated.1

Do you still need moisturizer and sunscreen?

Keep moisturizer after the ampoule: moisturizer helps trap water and reduce water loss from skin, including oily skin. For daytime protection, choose broad spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher and reapply every two hours or after swimming or sweating.5

What if your skin is sensitive?

Patch test a new product on your inner arm before applying it to your face, particularly if your skin is very sensitive. Be selective about new products if you have acne, rosacea or eczema. Stop using the ampoule if it causes irritation, including stinging or burning, and make an appointment with a dermatologist if you develop irritation or contact dermatitis, an inflammatory skin reaction.
