In a one week home use survey of 30 women using SPF 50+, 96% felt it layered well and 83% saw no pilling. Pilling is still possible. Its US formula contains fragrance, limonene and linalool.1

Does hyaluronic acid help dry skin?

Hyaluronic acid increases moisture in skin. Moisturizers help soften dry skin and support its protective barrier, so hydration and sun protection can sit in the same routine. For dry skin, choose a moisturizer without fragrance and apply it morning, night and after washing while skin is damp. These are general dry skin measures, not a prediction of how a particular Innisfree sunscreen will feel.4

What is Innisfree Hyaluronic Acid Cream?

Green Tea Seed Hyaluronic Cream is a daily moisturizer for hydration and barrier care, not sunscreen, despite the names sounding like members of the same committee. The Australian 50 ml cream is fragrance free and contains squalane, ceramide, panthenol and several forms of hyaluronic acid. Innisfree lists it for all skin types, including sensitive skin.5

Use the cream after serum, morning and night. For the Malaysian 50 ml version, smooth a dime sized amount over face and neck, then gently pat. Follow with sunscreen in the morning. The Australian directions specify a coin sized amount, so use the directions on your own package.56

What is Innisfree Hyaluronic Acid Serum?

Green Tea Seed Hyaluronic Serum is a lightweight hydration serum with encapsulated hyaluronic acid. The Australian 80 ml version is fragrance free and includes squalane and panthenol. The Singapore 80 ml version describes fragrance made from plant derived oil, so the shared name does not mean the formulas are identical.27

For the Australian serum, apply to face and neck early in your routine, morning or night, and gently pat. Apply before a softening toner that you pat in, or after an exfoliating toner that you swipe on, to avoid wiping the serum away. Follow with cream or lotion, then sunscreen in the morning.2

The Singapore serum's hydration testing measured increased skin moisture one minute after application and moisture barrier improvement after three days in 30 adult women. Those are hydration results for that serum, not sunscreen protection or a timetable for the Australian formula.7

When should you stop or seek help?

The Malaysian cream's directions say to avoid direct eye contact, rinse thoroughly with water if contact occurs, and stop use and consult a doctor if irritation develops.6

See a dermatologist if dryness does not go away or keeps returning. Severely dry skin can crack and bleed; open cracks can become infected.4
