Daily Sun Gel, Fresh Sun Serum and Natural Sun Cream have their own ingredient lists. Match the whole product name before copying a formula, because "sun" is not much of an identification system.234

What is in Daily Sun Gel?

If your packaging says Daily Sun Gel, its ingredients include niacinamide, glycerin, ectoin and several forms of hyaluronic acid. It also lists extracts of centella, purslane, houttuynia and white water lily. These are selected ingredients, not the complete formula, and the ingredient names alone do not tell you their concentrations.2

Does Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Watery Sun Gel contain alcohol?

Check Watery Sun Gel's own ingredient list for Alcohol, Alcohol Denat. or SD Alcohol if you want to avoid ethanol. Ethanol is also called ethyl alcohol; Alcohol Denat. and SD Alcohol are names used for denatured ethanol.5

Daily Sun Gel lists cetyl alcohol and C20 to 22 alcohols, but does not list ethanol, Alcohol Denat. or SD Alcohol. That answers the alcohol question for Daily Sun Gel, not for a tube marked Watery Sun Gel.1

Cetyl alcohol is a fatty alcohol, with different effects on skin from ethanol. An "alcohol free" cosmetic can still contain fatty alcohols, because the label's definition is narrower than the chemistry department's.5
