What does Bean Cream feel like?

Mixsoon describes the US 50 ml cream as rich but lightweight, with quick absorption and a finish that is not greasy. Its main purpose is hydration and support for the skin barrier, the outer layer that helps keep water in. Buy it for those moisturizer functions rather than making fermented ingredients the deciding factor.12

Who should consider it?

Dry skin is the clearest match for a cream: creams generally contain more oil than lotions and gels and preserve more moisture. For combination skin, apply moisturizer to dry areas rather than automatically coating oily areas too. If your skin is oily and needs only light hydration, a gel is a more sensible starting point. What are the ingredients in Mixsoon Bean Cream?

The US 50 ml formula includes water, glycerin, caprylic/capric triglyceride, hydrogenated polyisobutene, meadowfoam seed oil, vinyl dimethicone, cetearyl alcohol and panthenol. Its fermented ingredients include soybean, pomegranate, barley and pear. Glycerin attracts and retains water in the skin; moisturizing ingredients are not merely supporting characters for the bean in the name.124

The US cream includes bergamot fruit oil despite being marketed as having no artificial fragrance; the German 50 ml product is marketed as fragrance free. Check the ingredient panel on your actual pack before buying, especially if fragrance has caused reactions before. Avoid known triggers rather than relying on front label wording: terms such as fragrance free and for sensitive skin have no federal standard in the US.145

Test it before using it across your face

Apply your usual amount to a quarter sized spot on the underside of your arm or inside your elbow twice daily for seven to ten days. Leave the cream on as you normally would.
