Follow your own bottle's directions if you have another version; the Starter lotion's two pump instruction is not a universal dose for the range.13

Is Olay Retinol 24 good?

The Starter lotion is a reasonable option if you want to introduce cosmetic retinoids in a fragrance free lotion. Olay positions it for smoothing and evening texture with consistent use. Its ingredients include retinol, retinyl propionate, niacinamide, glycerin and dimethicone. Niacinamide is vitamin B3, and retinyl propionate is another vitamin A derivative. Retinol is used for uneven tone, pigmentation and texture, while retinoid products can suit mild fine lines and wrinkles. How do you use Olay Retinol 24?

2. 2Introduce one new active product at a time. For a beginner, every other night is a general retinoid starting schedule, even though Olay's Starter lotion directions specify nightly use. Increase only while your skin remains comfortable.
3. 3Use the dose for your version. For the Starter lotion, Olay directs two pumps, smoothed onto the face and neck in an upward circular motion. Store the lotion in a cool, dark place.
