Which should you buy?
If your existing moisturiser already suits you, the essence is the more logical addition: COSRX places it before cream, rather than in the cream's place. If you want one moisturising product rather than an additional step, the cream is the more direct choice. COSRX describes the cream as a moisturiser for dehydrated skin with lasting hydration. You can use both in sequence, but sharing a snail theme is not a reason to give both shelf space.12
Oily skin still needs moisturiser after cleansing. For skin that also breaks out, prioritise packaging marked "oil free", "noncomedogenic" or "won't clog pores" rather than choosing by snail content alone. Noncomedogenic means unlikely to clog pores. How do you apply them?

What if you use acne treatment?

Daily moisturiser can help skin tolerate these treatments, so do not replace that step with an essence simply because your skin looks oily. Choose an acne friendly moisturiser using the packaging descriptions above. If a skincare product irritates your skin, stop using it or use it less often.
