What does the SPF 50 formula feel like?

Supergoop describes SPF 50 as a lightweight gel with a natural finish and no white cast, so the disappearing act is about appearance, not the contents of the tube. You can wear it alone or use it as a primer under makeup. The SPF 50 formula is intended for normal, combination, dry, oily, sensitive and acne prone skin. If silicone avoidance is your deciding factor, those texture and skin type claims do not change the ingredient list.3

How do you apply it?

1. 1Finish your skincare routine before applying Unseen Sunscreen SPF 50.
2. 2Apply SPF 50 generously and evenly across your face and neck. Both the SPF 50 and SPF 40 directions require application 15 minutes before sun exposure.
3. 3For SPF 50, allow 30 seconds for absorption before applying makeup.
4. 4Reapply either version at least every two hours, after 40 minutes of swimming or sweating, and immediately after towel drying.

Both versions help prevent sunburn. Use sunscreen alongside other sun protection: limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and wear protective clothing, a hat and sunglasses. Keep the product away from excessive heat and direct sunlight.124

When should you stop using it?

Stop using either version and ask a doctor if a rash occurs. Do not apply either sunscreen to damaged or broken skin. Keep SPF 50 out of your eyes; rinse with water if it gets into them. For children under six months, ask a doctor before using either version.124
